Someone enters into human trafficking every 4 seconds in the world, and it’s not just happening in distant, third-world countries. It’s happening here, in your backyard, and the driving factor is money.
With the financial services and financial technology that we have today, we are able to detect human trafficking red flags just as we can detect money laundering and fraud— but banks have to work together, and that’s hard when they’re competing against each other for customers.
This documentary tells the story of financial experts who are raising awareness for how communities of all kinds can help prevent human trafficking simply through our money.
